I have some rental properties and I manage some fix-up and renovation
work by myself without 3rd hand. From time to time, I run into
situations that need another pair of hands to hold stuff for me. I have a
portable working bench with vise. But the vise is too weak to hold
heavy objects, or wide objects. And my portable bench wobbles.
I
am so glad to find this jawhorse from Amazon. Majority of the jawhorse
are built with metal, only few non-load-bearing components are plastic.
It is not only heavy duty, but also very heavy. But that's the good
part, its weight helps to keep thing stable.
The clamping
mechanism is a smart design. I can use both hands to position the object
and then use one feet to step on the pedal to clamp the object. And the
clamping power is great.
When not in use, this jawhouse can be
folded down for easy transportation or storage as it really does not
take up too much space.
In summary, this is a great investment if
you need to work on large objects that won't fit in the typical bench
vise, or you need additional hands.
